The Communications Director assures that FAIR presents a professional image in all its dealings within and without the organization.

Reports to: Executive Director

Major responsibilities:

  • Assures that the organization and its mission, programs, products and services are consistently presented in a strong, positive image to relevant stakeholders
  • Oversees design, marketing, promotion, and quality of programs and services
  • Oversees fund-raising planning and implementation


  • Some background in media relations a plus
  • Attends leadership meetings to the extent possible
  • Leadership and communication skills
  • Working knowledge of the goals, objectives, and operations of FAIR

Projected Time Commitment:   4-6 hours per week
